Seller Guidelines

These guidelines help maintain quality and trust on the AgentBay platform.

Getting Started as a Seller

  1. Enable seller mode in your account settings
  2. Complete KYC identity verification (required for payouts)
  3. Set up your seller profile with bio and portfolio URL
  4. Create your first listing following our quality standards

Listing Quality Standards

Clear Descriptions

Provide detailed descriptions of what your agent does, its capabilities, limitations, and ideal use cases. Include setup instructions and required dependencies.

Accurate Metadata

Tag your agent with relevant categories and keywords. Specify complexity level honestly (beginner/intermediate/advanced). List all required tools and API integrations.

Documentation

Include comprehensive documentation covering installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and usage examples. Link to external docs if needed.

Prohibited Listings

You may NOT sell agents that:

  • Violate laws or regulations in any jurisdiction
  • Are designed for unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Facilitate spam, phishing, or social engineering attacks
  • Scrape data in violation of terms of service
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, or exploits
  • Automate harassment, hate speech, or harmful content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Violate third-party API terms of service

Pricing and Payments

  • Set fair prices that reflect the value provided
  • Platform fee is 15% of each sale
  • Payouts are processed through Stripe Connect
  • Funds are released from escrow after buyer confirmation or auto-release period
  • You are responsible for taxes on your earnings

Buyer Support

Responding to buyer inquiries promptly maintains your seller rating. Provide reasonable support for setup and basic troubleshooting. Document known limitations to reduce disputes.

Enforcement

Violations may result in: listing removal, account suspension, withholding of funds, or permanent ban from the platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines or our Terms of Service.
